That curiosity eventually sparked his first business at age 16, repairing computers and providing IT services for both small and mid‑sized organizations.
Ryan’s background is as diverse as the projects Smartlink takes on. He holds a BFA in Video Production, spent six years in nonprofit leadership, and taught middle school math and computer classes for three years before returning full‑time to his entrepreneurial roots. He’s also the founder and co‑owner of Blue Ridge Paintball, an adoptive parent, and a thrill seeker who enjoys hiking, biking and chasing roller coasters whenever he can.
Today, Ryan leads Smartlink Solutions with the same creative spark that’s guided him all along — combining technical precision with a genuine passion for innovation, integrity and helping people feel confident about the systems that power their homes and businesses.
